A new mosque has opened in Chechnya

A new mosque has opened In the Gilan village of Nozhai-Yurt district in Chechnya.

The inhabitants had repeatedly stated their need a mosque, thus by the order of Ramzan Kadyrov, head of Chechen Republic, an impressive mosque which has a capacity to host 200 people in the same time, has opened. Khozh-Akhmed Kadyrov, the chairman of the Council of Ulema in Chechnya, and Nurdi Nukhazhiyev, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Chechnya attended to opening ceramony.

“This event proves once again that now in our republic, what kind of attention is paid to religious life. This is the best time for us in the history of the Chechen people. We have a full freedom of religion, it is a great merit of our eminent religious and government leaders,” said Khozh-Akhmed Kadyrov.

“It is the revival of our best traditions, the construction of mosques and many other buildings shows that now our people are returning to its roots. We are greateful to our national leaders, Akhmed-Haj Kadyrov, the first president and Ramzan Kadyrov, head of Chechen Republic,” said Nurdi Nukhazhiyev .

After the introductory words of the congregation, the doors oepened and people prayed the first time in the new mosque. According to the guests, now the village imams should pay more attention to religious education, especially among the younger generation.
